The good news is that I got a job. The bad news is that it is in the middle of nowhere in Nevada at a pay cut of $10,000. However, I am excited to start this new adventure. If you want to see how small the place where I will be going, go to www.local.live.com Click location under the box at the top and put in Hadley, NV. If you zoom in a little, you will see exactly how small this place is. The school has a total of 370 students, preschool-12th. I am looking forward to working with all the ages of kids. (I enjoyed doing K-8th these past two years as I worked quite a bit with the K-5th kids at Crossroads when I was there.)
So - The nearest Walmart is 4 hours away. How does that strike you? I know it all sounds crazy, but this is where I found a job, so at this point I am just thankful for work. The principal seems very nice, and I am choosing to make this a fun adventure. Once I am there, I am sure I will fall in love with it just as I did with Park View Middle School and Crossroads.

Pam congratulations on your new job. They are getting a bigger bargain than they know right now, but they will learn... You'll make many new friends at school and away, but there is always email... your friends in the ether love you too. Let's be in touch!
4 hours to the nearest Walmart? yikes!
I love your blog, by the way. It's so fun to see your grandkids and how big the family has become.
